Orange Blossom Honey
This honey is made by bees gathering nectar from orange blossoms in Florida. It is bottled in Vermont, and is totally raw and unfiltered. Honey is liquid when it comes out of the honeycomb and crystallizes into a creamy, spreadable texture in the fall. Heated Honey
Heated honey is a by-product of raw honey extraction. The wax cappings are removed from the honey comb before the frames are run through the extractor. The wax cappings and some raw honey that is stuck to the cappings are put into the melter. These are heated and the wax rises to the top. The wax is poured off the top and the heated honey is poured from the bottom. This honey stays liquid for longer than raw honey. It is a great sweetener and can be used for cooking and baking.
